Welcome!
Located on Vancouver Island, our growing community garden overlooks the harbour and downtown Ladysmith. Created in June 2010, the Ladysmith Community Garden Society grew out of local residents' interest in building community and sharing knowledge related to gardening and local food production. Members focus on making inter generational connections within the community, while increasing awareness of local food security and promoting organic and other environmentally sensitive gardening practices.
Get Involved
The Ladysmith Community Gardens are open to everyone. There are a multitude of opportunities, whether your interest is in gardening, learning how to grow your own food, building community, teaching others, governance, organizing events or something else. There's lots of room to grow with us.
